Legal & Policy Lab
The BLEST Legal & Policy Lab (LPL) is a faculty-guided initiative that helps students transform their study of EU law and policy into concrete public impact. Inspired by the legacy of the 2022 European Year of Youth, the LPL gives students a structured space to identify pressing European challenges, engage with experts, and develop actionable legal and policy proposals.
Through brainstorming sessions, technical workshops, thematic expert meetings, and a final pitch event, participants learn how to draft policy memos, executive briefs, and presentations for real policy audiences. The Lab aims to make young voices heard in EU debates while equipping students with practical skills in legal reasoning, economic analysis, policy design, stakeholder engagement, and public communication.
